February 01. Finished discussing types of limits. Next time we will discuss how limits are related with asymptotes (vertical, horizontal, or slanted), and will begin the discussion of continuity/discontinuity.
February 03. Discussed asymptotes, started to discuss continuity.
February 08. No class since the University is closed. Exam 1 (that was supposed to be on Wednesday, February 10 and cover Chapter 2) is postponed… we’ll see for how long after the University re-opens.

February 15. Finished Chapter 2 of the book. Next time we will have Exam 1.
February 17. Exam 1, discussion of Maple-1. No new homework other than the Maple project. Please check the updated version of the Syllabus for the dates of exams, etc. (The Final will be on May 12th). On Monday I will hand out printed copies of the new syllabus.

Exam4Review Please have your ID ready to check during exam.
The Final Exam will be cumulative; it will cover all topics of exams 1,2,3,4 and also the material of the last lectures. The exam will consist of two parts. Part 1: multiple choice questions. You are supposed to answer all of them. Part 2: several more difficult problems will be offered. You will have to choose several of these problems (say 6 from 8, this will be specified), and write solutions showing details. No extra credit for solving more problems then required.
